Vrbnik
is typical old Mediterranean city situated on the 48 meters
high cliff.
First time mentioned in XII century. Vrbnik is famous spiritual
center with many churches inside city walls. Here is also
Vitezic library with almost 10 000 books. Through many small
restaurants you have pleasure to taste traditional local dishes
and wine. Almost every restaurant has own wine cellar. On
the left side are some intersting links for restaurants in
Vrbnik.
Before arrival in city you will notice many wine yards in
this part of the island. Main reason is production of famous
“Vrbnicka Zlahtina” wine. This wine is well known
in all parts of Croatia and often prize winning.
